Insurance and Billing Information
The staff of the Medical City Surgery Center Denton are pleased in the decision that you and your surgeon have made to utilize our facility. We would like to make your upcoming visit comfortable at an affordable cost.
We will submit the claim to your insurance carrier within 72 hours of your surgery.
Medical Insurance
Medical City Surgery Center Denton accepts most major commercial insurance, HMO/PPO plans, Medicare, Workers Compensation and Medicaid.
Medical City Surgery Center Denton collects patient co-payments and any unmet deductibles on the day of surgery. Medical City Surgery Center Denton bills the patient's insurance company as a courtesy; however, any balance due is the patient's responsibility.
Please check with your insurance company for pre-admission requirements such as second opinions and pre-admission certification. This will facilitate the admitting process.
Individuals who do not have health insurance are asked to be responsible for our facility charge on the day of surgery unless prior payment arrangements have been made.
If you have questions regarding fees and insurance, please feel free to call us. In certain circumstances, payment plans may be arranged; please talk to our Business Office Manager prior to admission.
Medical City Surgery Center Denton accepts American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, personal check, cashier's check and cash.
Service Fees
Day Surgery Center charges a facility fee for each surgical procedure performed by your surgeon. This fee includes the cost of your pre-operative assessment, the nursing personnel, medications, supplies and the use of the operating and recovery rooms.
You will receive a separate bill from your surgeon, anesthesiologist and pathology.
